SUSAN HARPER - HEART OF DREAMING - INTENSIVE
JULY 22-27, 2010 - WHITE OAK POND, HOLDERNESS, NH

HEART OF DREAMING

Inside each of our hearts awaits a profound soulful dreaming, connected to our medicine gift, which dwells in seed form, and
waits to be watered
with attention.

Together we weave
a context of living ritual
where our unique dreaming
can blossom, to elaborate magic
in the waking dream
we call our life.

DREAMS AS MESSENGERS

We explore night and day dreams
—from the personal to the transpersonal.
Dreams reveal questions –
the puzzles of deeper soul.

Dreams show us what is calling for attention, what wants healing,
or shows us a new bud bursting to be free.

Dreams haunt us,
disturb and amuse us,
and are creative gifts
from the deep field
of imagination.

DREAM EXPLORATION
Inside a dream we enter the little things, open to the nuances of image, sensation, association, movement, meaning, we often arrive at an insight, an existential message so resonant and impactful that its unfolding meaning reshapes the direction our life. There will be Continuum Movement dives each day.

MOVING DREAMS
Dreams are too multi-dimensional to be bound to one-dimensional fixed ways of perceiving. We bring the dreams to life by moving their qualities, feelings and characters. When images come alive inside the wisdom of our bodies an ancient understanding is birthed that affects the original dream, the body and the dreamer.

VILLAGE DREAMING
In solo and community explorations we work with the personal ordinary dream, as well as the archetypal dream that needs a community to reveal its riches. Through the process of working a dream in communion we find ourselves revealed—transported, a deeper awakening of who we are.

WHY EXPLORE DREAMS - Dreams weave a net of fact and fiction, using images, spoken word, and symbols to united seemingly unrelated things, and reveal hidden meaning - changes that are needed and ready to happen in our daily lives. Exploring dreams opens our creative unfolding.
